North West England

North West England is home to some of the finest golfing the country has to offer, including the famous courses at Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham St Annes.

However, golf is certainly not the only thing that this area has to offer the visitor. Cumbria is the home of the Lake District National Park, a wonderful scenic area of mountains, lakes and verdant countryside just waiting to be explored. The area is also rich in history, from the Roman remains around Hadrian’s Wall to the ancient cities of Chester and Carlisle. Liverpool is a bustling lively city, home of the Beatles and is still a mecca for those who enjoy live music and a fun atmosphere. It is also the 2008 European Capital of Culture.
