Matfen Hall

Matfen Hall is a country house hotel set in the beautiful countryside in Northumberland close to Hadrian’s Wall. Sir Hugh and Lady Blackett have carefully restored their traditional family home into one of the North East’s leading venues for conferences, golf, spa and leisure breaks.

The Library and Print Room Restaurant, awarded 2 AA Rosettes offers a ‘fine dining experieince’, while the Conservatory Bar is perfect for a light snack or pre-dinner drink and pub bar meals are available in the Keepers Lodge. The hotel boasts a pool, gym and spa with four Individual Treatment Suites, all offering a range of treatments.
