Hanbury Manor (Marriot)

Hanbury Manor Hotel and Country Club is a luxury 5 star hotel set within 200 acres of roaming countryside, built in 1890 in an impressive Jacobean style. Many of the original features are still to be found, from the elaborate ceilings and chandeliers to the wood panelling and portraits. There is a choice of dining in the two restaurants; a traditional meal can be found in the formal Zodiac Restaurant or a more relaxed and contemporary delight can be enjoyed in the Oakes Grill. There is the Health Spa, as well as pool, sauna, steam room and impressive gym. The manor has a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course that has already hosted the European P.G.A. English open on several occasions.
